The Main Causes of Cancer

Cancer is one of the deadliest diseases in the world and the cure of cancer has not been discovered yet. There are certain therapies which can slow down the growth of cancer and these therapies are basically like chemotherapy and radiotherapy. In chemotherapy, a strong dose of the chemical is injected into the body which kills a majority of the cancerous cell and in radiotherapy, the radiations are used to kill the cancerous cells. Dietary Habits – Diet plays a major role in causing cancer. Prolonged exposure to radio frequency or x-ray can also cause cancer. Mobile radiations and microwaves are also linked to causing cancer in adults as well as in children.

Hormones – It might surprise you but certain hormones can also play role in development of cancer. Hormones like Insulin are also linked to cancer as it causes cell proliferation. As per one of the study, a higher level of estrogen and progesterone can also cause cancer.

Infection – 18% of deaths related to cancer are because of the infectious disease. Virus is the main culprits here as they can cause cells to reproduce irregularly. In addition to this, many scientists believe that bacteria and parasites may also cause such an effect.
